International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8 March. It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
This pack will support you to explore some of the disparities in our society and to promote a world that is diverse and inclusive where all difference is valued and celebrated.
We focus activities this week on Article 2, non-discrimination, but you can make strong links with rights more broadly. Women’s rights are human rights and we hope you’ll join with us in marking this day which makes a positive difference to women all over the world.
