World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20 and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.
In this pack we explore two rights in relation to this event. Article 10, family reunification, and Article 22, refugee children. Both of these articles help to safeguard provisions around family and the specific protection and assistance needs of children living in displacement contexts.
