As a former pupil of Nettlesworth Primary school I love giving something back after all these years by sitting as a school governor.
I live in Sacriston having studied at the University of Leeds for 4 years before getting a job for a web design and communications company in Newcastle. My passion for computers and ICT was born from tinkering with old Acorn computers at break time whilst at Nettlesworth. It is because of this passion that as a governor I would like to encourage more pupils to start learning programming and web design early on as the opportunities it will offer in the future are almost limitless.
As a Governor I serve on the following committees
First/Pay Review Committee which has responsibility for personnel issues and to work closely with the Finance and Premises committee on pay related reviews and guidance.
