My name is Mark Watson and I am a Parent Governor. I have lived in Kimblesworth since 2000 and I have been involved with the school since 2008. I have one child who has attended the school, a second who is attending school and a third who will start in September 2020.
I work as a Head of Facilities Management for a national company based in Newcastle.
As part of my role as Governor I serve on the following committees:
Appeals Committee which has responsibility for dealing with appeals made about procedure or decisions relating to staff members.
Curriculum and Standards Committee which has responsibility for the oversight of the curriculum delivery in school and standards of attainment in school.
Finance and Premises Committee which is responsible for overseeing the spending of the school budget and financing for the upkeep of the school building and grounds.
