This week we have combined two articles in order to discuss legal and illegal drug use.
Article 24 – Health and Health Services and Article 33 – Protection from Harmful Drugs can provide a useful context and language to explore different uses of medicines and drugs. Medicines and drugs are essential for a healthy society and can be positive for us all, but they can also be misused, harmful and illegal.
It’s important children and young people have accurate information so that they can be protected from misuse, make informed decisions, form opinions and take action if they need to.
