The Inclusion Strategy is the plan/report that schools publish to explain how they are using their inclusion funding and wider resources to remove barriers to learning and participation. The funding itself is the Inclusive Mainstream Fund (IMF), sometimes referred to as the Government’s inclusion funding allocation. Schools are required to publish an Inclusion Strategy showing how this funding will be used.
At Nettlesworth Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and able to achieve their full potential. Through the government’s Inclusion Mainstream funding, we are able to provide additional support and opportunities for pupils who may face barriers to learning, attendance, wellbeing or engagement.
This funding helps us strengthen our inclusive practice by offering targeted interventions, nurture and emotional wellbeing support, specialist resources, enrichment opportunities and personalised assistance for children and families. It also enables us to work closely with external agencies and professionals to ensure that pupils receive the right support at the right time.
Our aim is to remove barriers to participation, promote equality of opportunity and ensure that all children can access a broad, balanced and enriching education. By investing in strategies that support academic achievement, personal development and emotional wellbeing, we help every child to thrive and succeed within our school community.
Through careful planning and regular evaluation, we ensure that Inclusion Strategy Premium funding has a positive impact on the children who need it most, reflecting our commitment to creating a school where everyone belongs, everyone is supported and everyone can succeed.
