Today, every child in the school had the opportunity to work with the amazing author; Adam Bushnell!
In class 1 we used beautiful descriptive language and had to trap the troll family outdoors in our enchanted woodland. Lots of imagination was used by the children and the creativity was FABULOUS!
In Class 2 we learnt all about the Great Fire of London. We were amazed by all of the facts we found out and are now super excited to learn more. We listened to stories, watched videos and were even able to smell things from that period of time. What a fantastic time we had!
In Class 3, we created our own superhero characters ready for our Heroes and Villains new topic. We found out that knights heraldic colours all had different meanings. We learnt all about lots of different weapons and got to hold them!
In Class 4, we created a spooky narrative based on our new Cornerstones Curriculum – Firedamp and Davy Lamps. The children thoroughly enjoyed their Memorable Experience with Adam Bushnell.
