TT Rockstars Celebration Day – 15.7.22

July 16, 2022 by admin

UNCRC Article 31 – leisure, play and culture

What a fabulous day we have had our to celebrate our TT Rockstars. We demonstrated our Rights Respecting Gold ethos by hosting our Celebration Assembly, then 14 lucky TT Rockstars went  aboard the Boombus to experience the life of a rockstar visiting the Angel of the North and the sights of the Quayside. Back in school, our children have had a wonderful time solving Reasoning Problems, showing variance in their calculations and then enjoying an in house disco.

Well done to all our fabulous children.

Class 4 had so much fun dressing up as rockstars to celebrate TT Rockstar day. We did lots of TT Rockstars, answered some problem solving questions in our groups and then finished off the day with a fantastic disco. Everyone had a great time rocking!

The History Bloke

July 11, 2022 by admin

Class 1 and 2 had lots of fun working with the History Bloke. We enjoyed learning all about the Victorian period. We looked at different artefacts and learnt about daily life for children and adults during this period of time. We then looked at toys and talked about how they were similar and different to our toys today.

We learnt lots and had fun in the process!

Class 3 have really enjoyed their visit from Richard today. We learnt lots of new facts, all about the Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle and joined in with lots of fun activities. We enjoyed seeing all of the interfaces and learning about jobs from Victorian times
