Today we had the pleasure to welcome BigFoot Arts into school to perform their travelling Panto live to the whole school.

We had so much FUN! What a great way to end the Autumn Term. Happy Holidays to one and all 🙂

UNCRC Article 28 – Right to an education.

This morning we have celebrated everyone’s fantastic effort with their attendance.

Well done to everyone who has received an award for having 96% or more!

A fantastic effort from all of the children who have 100% attendance since September!

 

 

We are super proud of all of the children in KS2 who put on an amazing show for their loved ones. Every child sang and performance brilliantly. All little stars! Well done and a Merry Christmas.

Thank you to everyone for taking part in our Christmas Elf Run in aid of St Cutherbert’s Hospice. We had lots of fun joining in a whole school warm up with Leanne Kemp before all taking part in our charity run. Thank you very much for all of the kind donations.

Thank you to our Sports Leaders for once again helping to ensure the PE event ran smoothly.

We are excited to announce that all of our hard work in PE has once again been recognised and our school has been awarded the afPE Quality Mark + Distinction for a period of 3 years.

During the award process it was noted that as a school are strengths are the following:
 The subject lead is passionate and committed to continually driving the development of PESSPA across
the school and dedicated in inspiring ALL pupils to be physically active
 The senior management and the rest of the staff whole heartedly support the schools’ vision for PESSPA,
understand the impact that it has on the development of their pupils and implement all interventions
with enthusiasm
 The commitment of the school in achieving a REAL active 30 minutes for their pupils each day

This half term we chose Jake as our artist of the half term. This half term Picasso was our artist and Jake was very inspired by this and created some super artwork.
