Durham University Holiday Camps
We are back running sport and activity camps from Monday 21st to Friday 25th February at our state of the art Sports and Wellbeing Park. The camps are available to all 5-11 year olds and can be booked on a day to day basis. Costs are £15 per day (09.30am-4.30pm) with a small charge for wraparound care from 08.30am and until 5.30pm each day.

Today in Mrs Morton’s assembly the children worked in groups to learn about being safe when sharing their personal pictures and videos.
We met characters; Mo and Tia, who together with Jessie complete the friendship trio. At Tia’s birthday party they use Tia’s older brother Kyle’s mobile to take fun photos of themselves. They agree to send their photos to Tia’s nan but also a few other people whose numbers are saved in Kyle’s phone. When the photos are shared with other children at their school without their permission, they turn to their teacher for help. The three friends learn about how images can get shared more widely than you first expect, and the importance of consent. Check out the video and website below to see more about this:

Class 2 Gymnastics
Today we went to Sherburn Leisure Centre to take part in a Gymnastic event. We had loads of fun bouncing and jumping and balancing! We loved using all of the equipment and practising the skills we have learnt in school with Mr Beveridge.
