This week, our entire school community came together for our magical Christingle service at our local church. Surrounded by family and friends, the children celebrated this special tradition with songs, prayers and the beautiful glow of Christingle candles.

Today was a truly magical day at Nettlesworth Primary! Our children lit up the school in their colourful Christmas jumpers, spreading joy and festive cheer throughout the dinner hall.
Sarah and Lisa made sure our stomachs were just as happy as our hearts, serving up a delicious Christmas dinner that everyone enjoyed. From laughter and smiles to tasty treats, it was a wonderful day filled with happiness and togetherness.
Adding to the excitement, Santa delivered a special letter to every child, bringing even more festive magic to the day. The joy on their faces was priceless as they opened their letters and shared their Christmas wishes!

Our children had an amazing experience working alongside local author Adam Bushnell and Sarah in a creative cooking workshop! They combined storytelling with culinary skills, turning everyday food into imaginative heroes and villains. From crafting characters out of ingredients to cooking up a storm in the kitchen, the children made delicious recipes from scratch, including gingerbread and chicken fajita pasta. It was a fantastic blend of creativity and teamwork—well done to everyone involved!

Our Christmas Craft Fayre was a fantastic event and a wonderful way to bring our school community together. What a magical start to the festive season! Our school hall came alive as every child added a bauble to our huge real Christmas tree, making it sparkle with colour and joy. Together, we counted down to the big light switch-on, filling the hall with music, dancing, and plenty of laughter.
Classrooms are now beautifully decorated, and the whole school gathered to enjoy a special story time with the classic ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. It was a wonderful way to celebrate together and spread festive cheer across our school community!
