A massive well done and thank you to our Sports Leaders and SSOC’s crew for hosting a Reception Superhero Festival with the Schools Sports Partnership. They welcomed children from 4 different schools and helped lead the different stations. Everyone had lots of fun and showed off their amazing leadership skills.
The History Bloke
Class 1 and 2 had lots of fun working with the History Bloke. We enjoyed learning all about the Victorian period. We looked at different artefacts and learnt about daily life for children and adults during this period of time. We then looked at toys and talked about how they were similar and different to our toys today.
We learnt lots and had fun in the process!
Class 3 have really enjoyed their visit from Richard today. We learnt lots of new facts, all about the Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle and joined in with lots of fun activities. We enjoyed seeing all of the interfaces and learning about jobs from Victorian times
