UNCRC Article 28 – Every child has the right to an education.
Today Adam Bushnell worked with a group of our children to develop their imagination and creative writing styles. He engaged them in hands on way and the language and vocabulary that was developed throughout the session was incredible! The children received a signed copy of their favourite Adam Bushnell text too – well done everyone 🙂

On Friday, we said goodbye to our Class 4 teacher, Miss Milburn. We know she is only a phone call away and that she will certainly be back too visit us here at Nettlesworth Primary School. Over her time spent here she has worked with many of our children and staff and she will be missed by all of us.
Wishing you all the best in this next phase of your career. Congratulations, and best of luck 🙂

I am blown away by all your kindness and support on my last day today. I feel very lucky to have worked with such talented, beautiful children and wish them all every success in the future. It’s been a privilege to work in such a lovely school.

UNCRC Article 31 – Every child has the right to relax, play and join in with a wide range of activities.
Class 4 had a brilliant day at Beamish to launch our new topic Scrumdiddlyumptious. They began their day with an Inside Scoop workshop where they learnt about about the history of ice-cream in the North east. They loved making their own cream with the traditional recipe and especially enjoyed tasting it.

Well done to all our children in school this week for their efforts in TT Rockstars; your scores have been adding to an accumulative league table between schools across County Durham.
All our children who have received certificates this week are for the greatest points added.
