Key Stage 2 Nativity Performance

Elf Run

Thank you to everyone for taking part in our Christmas Elf Run in aid of St Cutherbert’s Hospice. We had lots of fun joining in a whole school warm up with Leanne Kemp before all taking part in our charity run. Thank you very much for all of the kind donations.

Thank you to our Sports Leaders for once again helping to ensure the PE event ran smoothly.

AfPE Reaccreditation

We are excited to announce that all of our hard work in PE has once again been recognised and our school has been awarded the afPE Quality Mark + Distinctionย for a period of 3 years.

During the award process it was noted that as a school are strengths are the following:
๏‚ท The subject lead is passionate and committed to continually driving the development of PESSPA across
the school and dedicated in inspiring ALL pupils to be physically active
๏‚ท The senior management and the rest of the staff whole heartedly support the schoolsโ€™ vision for PESSPA,
understand the impact that it has on the development of their pupils and implement all interventions
with enthusiasm
๏‚ท The commitment of the school in achieving a REAL active 30 minutes for their pupils each day

A massive congratulations to everyone for the hard work and dedication.

Artist of the half term!

This half term we chose Jake as our artist of the half term. This half term Picasso was our artist and Jake was very inspired by this and created some super artwork.

Violinistโ€™s Christmas Performance – 13.12.22

What a fabulous treat today when our violinists – who have been working with Mr Stokoe from Durham Music Services all year – performed to the whole school with a selection of Christmas songs.

EYFS & KS1 Nativity 2022

Today Class 1, 2 and 3 performed the show; ‘Christmas Counts’ to our family and friends. We have all worked incredibly hard to learn our lines, perform the songs as well as remembering when to come on and off the stage.

We hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did ๐Ÿ™‚
