On 10th October 2025, children across all year groups at Nettlesworth Primary School came together to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day, looking at the effects of fake news and doom scrolling on mental health.
Throughout the day, pupils engaged in a variety of thoughtful and creative activities designed to promote emotional wellbeing, empathy, and kindness:
The day was a beautiful reminder that mental health matters every day, and that even small acts of kindness and understanding can make a big difference. We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their compassion, creativity, and commitment to making our school a safe and supportive space for all.

Chloe has been making some lovely artwork at home, inspired by our artist of the half term ‘Kandinsky’. It is so lovely to see children completing artwork at home, as well as school. Well done Chloe!
