A great big thank you to everyone who attended our first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning. We could not believe the success of it! Staff and governors made kind donations of cakes and biscuits to sell at the event. The generous donations amounted to over £200 to be donated to the charity.

Well done to Scarlett and Annabelle who have earned their next swimming award and moved up a stage. It is lovely seeing children developing their talents outside of school and sharing their achievements! Keep up the good work.

The children have all worked hard since coming back to school but these children have been recognised for doing amazing work this week in their classes! Well done, keep up the good work!

Today our school was drowning with denim and kindness as we celebrated Jeans for Genes Day! Pupils and staff proudly wore their jeans to raise awareness and funds for children affected by genetic disorders.

From classroom discussions to creative activities, our children learned about the importance of inclusion and compassion — all while helping to make a difference. Together, we raised £52 for this fantastic cause!

Mrs Morton and the EYFS team are excited to share how wonderfully our new Reception children have settled into school life. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and cheerful smiles have brought a lovely energy to our classroom. From exploring new routines to making new friends, they’ve embraced every part of their learning journey with confidence and joy. A huge thank you to our families for their support during this important transition — we’re excited for all the adventures ahead!

What an amazing day we had for TT Rockstar Day! From the outstanding effort the children and adults made to dress up as rockstars, to dancing our socks off at the disco! We had a fun filled day, celebrating all of the hard work the children have been doing on TT Rockstars throughout the year.

What an amazing afternoon we had, watching all of our talented children take part in our school talent show! The children and staff were all blown away with the performances the children put on and how confident they were! From singing and dancing, to telling jokes and performing magic… Nettlesworth really has got talent!
